- אִזְמַרְגַּד, אִזְמַרְגְּדָא, אִזְמַרְגְּדִין(אִזְמַרְגְּזִין, אִזְמְרַגְדִּין) m. (σμάραγδος, σμαράγδιον) emerald, a jewel (also colored crystal; v. זמרגד a. זמרגדין). Targ. Job. 42:13. Targ. O. Ex. 28:18 (Targ. Y. ib. אִזְמֹורַד); a. e. Ex. R. s. 38, end אִסְמַרַגְדִּין.
